China Professional Tours, in collaboration with GlobalAtlanta.com and the China National Tourism Administration, will host another dinner presentation promoting tourism to China.  The main theme of this presentation will be the introduction of a new tourist destination in China:  Jiu Zhai Gou, or Jiuzhaigou Valley, a nature reserve in northern Sichuan province of China. It is known for its many multi-level waterfalls and colorful lakes, and was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1992.  More information about Jiu Zhai Gou can be found at the Wikipedia website:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jiuzhaigou_Valley.

Visa Fee to China to Increase on Aug. 1, 2007
The Chinese Embassy in Washington, DC, has announced the increase in visa fees for US citizens traveling to China effective August 1, 2007.  A flat consular service fee of $100 per visa will be charged regardless of the number of entries.  This reflects a $50 increase compared to the current single-entry visa fee.  Details can be found at the Chinese Embassy website:  http://www.china-embassy.org/eng/hzqz/t334452.htm.

If you want China Professional Tours to help you process a visa to China, we need to have your complete application material in our office in Norcross, Georgia, before July 26 to honor the current rate, as we need time to process the request and forward to the Consulate in time.  New increased rate will be applied for any application received after July 26, 2007.  For questions, please call the China Professional Tours office at 770-849-0300 or 1-800-25-CHINA.

China Professional Tours (CPT) praised by Atlanta Mayor and Chamber for great tour arrangements
A historic trip to China of a high-profile Atlanta delegation organized by the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce and led by Atlanta Mayor Shirley Franklin turned out to be a great success, thanks to the wonderful job done by CPT staff members. The delegation, consisting of 30 business leaders from Georgia, visited Beijing, Wuhan, Shanghai and Hong Kong in September 2006, including a banquet at the Great Hall of the People. China professional Tours, as the local tour coordinator, assisted the Chamber in all aspects of the tour arrangements including air tickets, hotel bookings, guide service, transportation and interpretation services. All participants were extremely impressed with the arrangements. Mayor Shirley Franklin requested that the Atlanta Chamber of Commerce send a letter of appreciation to the CPT staff for their "hard work and professionalism".
