How about adding some adventure to your China trip? Snow is a beautiful gift of nature to mankind. Winter in northern China offers an ideal place for skiing. Yabuli Ski Ground near China’s northeastern city of Harbin is the first international standard skiing course in northern China. It has 15 ski runs for senior, junior, and elementary levels and they make up a total length of 30 kilometers. There are also German-imported summer ski runs of 2,680 meters, the longest in the world. Another famous ski resort in China is the Xiling Snow Covered Mountain near the city of Chengdu in Sichuan Province. It covers an area of approximately 7 square km. The altitude is between 2,200 and 2,400 meters and the lowest temperature in winter is -10c. The snow season lasts from late November to the end of March the following year. The average depth of snow coverage is more than 60cm. Xiling is also known as the "Alps in the East" since it shares the same altitude, similar snow quality and similar snow seasons with the European Alps. This tour takes you to both ski courses, and adds some adventure to your regular China tour.
